This collection is an exploration and study of pattern and color using only indigo on cotton, serving as a focused investigation into the transition from structure to pattern. Through this process, I evaluate how geometric order and organic bleed interact within the fiber. These pieces function as a sampling of techniques to inform larger-scale shibori works, allowing me to refine specific methods and determine which traditional forms will be translated into future, larger compositions.
